From Prompt to Page: A Creative Writing & Book Celebration on June 14, 2025

Portland book lovers, save the date! ✨ We’re thrilled to partner with the wonderful Up Up Books to celebrate the incredible young writers and artists behind our new anthology, ‘Home and Away,’ on June 14th from 5:00-6:00 PM for a special event: “From Prompt to Page!”

We will engage in a writing exercise drawn directly from the prompts that shaped this meaningful publication. You’ll have the opportunity to hear these young authors’ moving pieces read aloud and get your own copy of the anthology signed (books will be available for purchase at the event).

The PATHfinder Club and POPS the Club provide support and resources to teens impacted by incarceration, detention, and deportation—transforming hurt and harm to hope and healing. Each year we publish an anthology of their creative work. Let’s lift up these talented young writers and artists!
