Krystle joined The Pathfinder Network in March 2023 as the Director of Operations. Within her role, she ensures TPN programs are fully supported in delivering high-quality services and support to adults, children, and families who are systems-impacted. Her collaborative leadership style is grounded in the three i’s (implementation, integration, and impact) through a diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice lens that prioritizes safety, equity, and access for all. Since her start at TPN, she has co-created The Mosaic: A Multiracial ERG, that contributes meaningfully to the TPN culture of belonging.
When asked what brings her to this work, Krystle shared, “I’m a woman healing from substance use and gender-based violence, sister who’s lost her brother to police violence, and daughter of previously incarcerated parents. I long wished for the resources and support The Pathfinder Network provides and feel deeply connected to being part of the impact of this work for myself, my family, and the world."
Prior to joining TPN, Krystle held operations leadership positions within financial and non-profit organizations, received a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Merced and an MA in Writing from Otis College of Art & Design. In addition to her work for TPN, Krystle is the author of Prayer for Relief, the Fundraising Chairperson for The Grief House, the Chapbook Design Program instructor at the Independent Publishing Resource Center, a poetry reader for Epiphany Magazine, and a book layout designer for Mama’s Kitchen Press. On most days, Krystle can be found exploring cafes, writing poems, and creating art (sometimes at the same time!). She loves and lives with her partner Kevin and their growing garden of plant-babies. Her poetry and artwork can be seen at krystlemaystatler.com.
