Staff Retreat

By Kiley Yuthas | May 1st, 2017

It was an event for laughing, singing, enjoying good food, connecting with staff members and board members, and sharing information. It was Pathfinders’ 2017 Staff Retreat and our team members came out in full force to participate in the festivities. The event brought staff together, from across the state, to explore the theme of “Personal Wellness” and the importance of taking care of ourselves so we can take care of the individuals and families we serve.

Executive Director Joseph Tietz presented Pathfinders’ new mission, vision, values, and strategic plan and Director of Training and Programming Leticia Longoria-Navarro spoke about what it means to be a trauma-informed organization. In the afternoon, workshop staff explored ways to shift their thoughts and words to have a more positive impact on those around them.

At the end of the retreat, staff members provided feedback about how the organization can best serve its clients and staff. We also appreciate feedback from our followers. If you have comments or suggestions about how Pathfinders can best serve its clients or staff, please contact us.
