Isis Harris is passionate about shaping public policy and issues addressing incarceration, community safety, equity, and diversity, as well as apprenticeship and entrepreneurship as a way to improve underserved working families’ quality of life. She works with community-based organizations, unions, and government agencies to increase access to construction industry careers for individuals historically excluded from union participation.

Isis was recently featured on Fox 12’s Good Day Oregon (February 2022) to speak about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the construction industry and her personal commitment to facilitating positive change within the workforce. 3v3ryday Grind LLC was spotlighted in the 2022 business edition of the Portland Observer and the company was gifted the Community Building Award in December of 2022 by the National Association of Minority Contractors for the creation of the Community Pulse Series.  The Community Pulse Series was highlighted in the June 16th edition of the NW Labor Press and explored its work encouraging intentional recruitment within the black community. She is also a 2023 Honoree of the Daily Journal of Commerce Women of Vision Award. Isis currently teaches Pre-Trades and Apprenticeship at PCC and manages a 3DG program conducting outreach in the N.E Portland Community.
