Les Doty is a proud graduate of The Pathfinder Network, and his own experiences with incarceration, addiction, and recovery are a big part of why he wants to serve on the Lived Experience Advisory Board. He has been in recovery from methamphetamine addiction for seven years and knows firsthand how important it is to have people who support you and give you an opportunity to move forward.
He currently works as a Peer Support Specialist with The Peer Company, doing outreach with people experiencing homelessness. His lived experience helps him connect with people where they are and understand some of the challenges they are facing without judgment.
He is passionate about being on the Advisory Board because The Pathfinder Network was part of his own journey. He wants to give back to an organization that helped him and be part of making sure other people coming out of incarceration have support, opportunities, and a chance to build a different life.
Outside of work, he enjoys riding and working on Harley-Davidson motorcycles, spending time with family, and being outdoors.
